My wife and I did our paperwork Oct 24, the charge hit my credit card November 14th or 16th (I forgot), so if you count calendar days from October 24 we are at 65 days, if you count work days (and that depends on the employer, as holidays are different) I am not sure where we are.

You should probably start counting from Nov 14/16. My understanding is that the clock starts when OSBI processes the payment.

I know people were seeing 45-60 day turnarounds for a while, my guess is that with the rush of applications and the holidays, it is closer to 60 days now.

I am somewhere around day 32 for mine...expecting it late Jan or early Feb.

My wife had to return to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's station at Quail Springs Mall to have her fingerprints done again. Everyone is certain she will be rejected again, because she has no fingerprints left after 40 years of typing (nurse and medical records). I was shocked to learn that a person could "rub off" their fingerprints!

She will ultimately have to go down to OSBI, because according to the Deputy, OSBI is obligated to accept their own fingerprints.

I am looking for my permit around mid-January. I HATE that she will have to wait for the bureaucracy!
