Basically, your carry license become null and void, but in OK, your instructor permit takes the place of your carry permit. Biggest difference is, they are only 5 years, you have to maintain CLEET certification, and to maintain CLEET certification, you have to maintain instructor status via whatever organization, which in my case is the NRA.

Wouldnt count on it, waits increasing, mine was turned into Cleveland County on the 17th of Oct and I am still waiting.

You should get yours... Buddy submitted to Cleveland October 25 and received his 3 weeks ago Saturday. That's what I've been basing my any day on...

Of course you also forfeit what ever money you paid for your carry permit. I had over 5 years to go on my carry permit when I got my instructors permit.

Yup, renewals a 100 every 5 and you have to keep CLEET current as well your instructor status with NRA, lot more expensive to be an instructor than most people realize.

Mined showed up today. My wife and I turned in our applications in on Oct. 24 at the Cleveland County SO. Hers did not show up, maybe I should do a background check on her? Sometimes she is a shady character!!! LOL. Mine is dated 12/28 btw. Hers is probably in the mail, we have had issues with our postman in the past. Or with the holidays is it fell, and just luck of the draw.

Wife got her license today. I think the mail man took yesterday off since we got no mail. We always get junk mail!

Mine went in to Rogers County on November 18th. It sure does feel like a lot longer than that though.

I am on day 35, and my heart sinks as I read this. I submitted right before sandy hook and OSBI was backed up then... Frustrating.
