If you were not so far away I could probably work a deal with you.
I make a belt or two now and then.
Veg tan. I have some saddle skirting leather around 10oz., Herman Oak. Cost would be about same as a Looper but twice the belt in my opinion.

If you double the leather it would be over .25 inches, no stretch, will hold a tool pouch full of tools if you wanted. The cost would be more than the looper.

A saddle skirt 10 oz with a 2 oz. liner is about right for a great gun belt.

I have some belts made in the 42 in range made. 8 oz. leather Texas oak, not as good as Herman Oak, still very good quality though. 8 oz. will hold a lighter gun pretty well, will even hold a 5 inch 1911, 45 cal. pretty good. Unless they have improved the looper, the 8 oz. with a liner is as good or better than a looper.

I will try and get some pictures put up today.

  1. Easy to Adjust, even on the go. The Tri-Glide buckle allows for quick and easy adjustments as great or as slight as you need
  2. High Concealment. The Tri-Glide buckle is slim and low-profile to minimize potential printing
