Windows all tinted up on my 4Runner

got the windows tinted. He got a pretty good match to the rears.

The front windshield IIRC can only be tinted so many inches from the top.

The front side windows can be tinted no darker than legal limit.

The front can be tinted with a special tint (usually ceramic) if you have a note from a doctor as some people have eyesight issues.

Indicates to me an unwillingness to communicate with other drivers as they are unable to determine if someone is looking or paying attention or not. Tint removed from my front side windows for this reason.

Indicates an unwillingness of the driver and passenger to bake in the sun if it’s daylight. Tint added to my front windows for this reason.

If I want to communicate with others I will make sure they know it. This coming from a small town guy that knows nearly everyone. We wave just fine with tinted windows.

I also think blinkers, brake lights, traffic laws, etc do a great job of communicating with other drivers.

You can put film on the windshield as long as it’s clear. Still blocks the UV’s and heat.
