I know I'll sound like my Dad talking about $.30 gas, but WTH happened with the price of wiper blades?? The first two options I see on Oreilly's are Bosch Focus for $31.99 EACH. The cheapest pair I see on their site is $30. I ended up buying a pair of Trico NeoForm something, blah blah blah on Amazon for $28.

Most of them now are literally a strip of plastic and rubber - the markup must be what, 5000%?

Anyway, gripe over..

If you're not in a huge hurry, I usually get my wiper blades from the clearance section of Rockauto.com. I think the last batch I bought were less than $3 for the premium single beam wipers. I'll send you a PM with a discount code if you decide to go this route.

Just looked up the NeoForms for my vehicle ---- $6.91 each. Bosch Insights were $4.14 each.

Good luck!

Yep they practically give wipers away on Rock Auto for the cost of the shipping and a tip. Half the side of my refigerator is classic car magnets from them. I walked into O reilly's the other day for a car battery, nothing special and they wanted 189 dollars before tax. It didn't take me long to finish looking and wrap up my shopping experience. Ripoff Shop.

But hey, I'm the guy that will move the best remaining wiper blade to the passenger side and buy one.
Its not imperative that the passenger sees what I am about to hit or start backseat driving.

Napa was doing a walk in sale at the wharehouse on memorial. Their brand blades were like $3-4 each. You might check their site to see if they are still doing it. It was the 3rd Sunday of each month or something like that

You used to could buy refills, just the rubber part, but now it seems like all you can find is the complete wiper arm. Still, I haven't bought any in a while but Walmart had some more like $10 or less each, or you could pay a couple of dozen dollars each for stuff like Bosch.

I can't tell that the fancy compounds etc last any longer either. I'll plan ahead a little more and probably start stocking some of the cheap ones when I catch deals.

I typically buy the fancy RainX blades. they cost something like $30-40 each, but they outlast just about everything else I have tried. I think my current set is a year old, the set on the old lady's car is 2 years old. I have had a set for 3 years before and didnt need to replace them when I sold the car. I had to use cheap/midgrade wipers on work vehicles in the past, and they would last 3-6 months at best. Ended up costing less to buy the fancy stuff. Keeping your windshield clean is a big part of keeping your blades in good order though. I tend to clean and treat my windshield with RainX water repellent spray regularly, which fills in gaps/chips and coats the windshield. Heck, you do a good enough job you don't even have to use your wipers.

The previous owner of my truck said he had the ‘professional’ RainX job done on it. I was like ‘yeah, whatever’. Anyways, 8 years later I still done have to use my wipers in a moderate rain.

Use a claybar on the windshield before you use the RainX solution, along with the RainX washer fluid and you'll rarely have any bug splats to clean off.

Just be sure to follow the directions on how to use the claybar!
