My ex-wife left me for her friends and partying, We are both in our mid forties and have two children. I hope reliving her teenage years was worth it! Last I heard she's broke, and a raging alcoholic. I too tried to make it work. It looks bad now but believe me, things will get much better for you! I wish you the best of luck man! Hang in there! I've been having woman issues over the last few months, I thought it was going to work out, but I was wrong. Do you ladies go to some sort of specialist school where they teach you how to rip our guts out and set them on fire?

This is EXACTLY how I felt about men until I met GC ... Gotta hang tough man ... there are a lot more crazies out there (of both genders) than there are sane people.

GC has this thing that in nature animals have so many babies because 98% of them are too stupid to survive. Unfortunately our species spends an inordinate amount of time, money and effort protecting that 98% of our species. Makes it really, really rough on us 2%Rs ...

(I gotta admit after I thought about it that he might be onto something. )

My best advice is just go into denial ... denial that you ever cared, that she ever met anything, that she was worthy of your time and attention ... and focus on you. Become a selfish SOB ... just for a while ... It worked for me every single time!! (and there was more than once ... I was not the sharpest tool in the shed when it came to men.)

the key here is "at MOST"

Good luck... my suggestion is to find another one quickly and then rotate again PRIOR to her breaking your heart. It really is the only solution.

Here are the approximate steps in order, some substitution is allowed:



1. Dinner at your favorite place with the boys
2. Gunrange for a couple of hours, everybody brings stuff to shoot/share
3. Strip club, worst shooter buys first round.

Back when I worked at H&H I heard this combo pretty often. Aparently it works for divorice too! I saw one guy in with 2 seperate groups in one week, and struck up a conversation with him... he noted that one could cover all three in a matter of blocks of Reno and Meridian.

My advice, go to church, check out some single ladies, and then, befriend their dads. Take the ole man fishing, help him with some projects, get to be his buddy. Then ask him about his daughter. Seriously, if he thinks he'll lose a good fishin buddy because his daughter's a nutjob, he'll let ya know.
