Felt it here in Coalgate. My wife was "in town" at our old house and she called me all freaked out. " I don't know what the hell is going on but the house is falling down!!". She got pissed when I laughed. Her first earthquake experience... And no, the house didn't fall down.

I dont know how fast an Earthquake travels but Damn, it had to be moving. Seems like we all felt it at once.

You have to understand you are at least 100 miles from the epicenter. Just to feel it that far away makes it pretty large.

I dont know how fast an Earthquake travels but Damn, it had to be moving. Seems like we all felt it at once.

When I lived in CA, I was on the phone with my wife when one hit. She was in Pasadena and I was in Beverly Hills and it took about 20 to 25 seconds to travel the distance before I felt it. It is about 15 miles as the crow flies.

I grew up in Prague and supposedly there is a fault line West of town. Felt a few growing up but this one I felt rather well! odd I'm not near as sleepy as I was just prior to it hitting. Later,
