You've all been missing an really important angle on the race for the White House.

Longtime actress Roseanne Barr is running for the Green Party’s presidential nomination — and according to reports, the comedienne says it’s no joke. To make matters all the more bizarre, anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan said on her blog that she would support a “Barr for President.”...

In a recent blog entry posted by SFist, Sheehan wrote:

Many people have a misperception about Roseanne, but she came to San Francisco to support my campaign when I ran against Nancy Pelosi in 2008 and I have had a chance to meet with her, hang out with her and interview her a couple of times on my radio show. She is also bright, articulate, well-informed, even more progressive, and even though she is not a member of the 99%, she knows our tune and can sing our hearts.

I have heard rumors from GP insiders that Barr is not a “serious candidate,” but I can also attest Roseanne Barr Seeks Green Party Presidential Nomination to the fact that she is a very introspective and thoughtful person that would not be doing this if she were not, “in it to win it.”

To really change things for the better for the 99%, I am convinced that we need a united leftwing worker’s party instead of so many different factions of basically the same program and that will take working our fingers to the bone between elections–not just every four years presenting a few different candidates....

Calling Rosanne Barr articulate is like calling Diane Rehm's voice sensual and sultry.

You guys have had your proverbial oatmeal in the microwave for too long if you'd rather have Rosanne in office than Obama. C'mon now.

Assuming people get your Diane Rehm allusion, you're pushing it with this crowd admitting you listen to NPR.

I spend a lot of time in the car, Cards. NPR is usually the most entertaining/informative talk station, save for when the Christian radio station has its sex addiction show on and people call in crying and talking about porn.

But for realz, I wish if they had to give Rehm a time slot they'd do it at like 3 a.m. or something. Yes, I'm sorry your voice broke and that's gotta be a bummer, but nobody likes hearing your nu-metal old woman voice grinding like a garbage disposal on their way to work, lady. Your job is to speak and yer speaker broke; them's the breaks. Get a newspaper column or somethin'.

I though KTOK or KRMG were the only talk stations in Oklahoma? :D

In all seriousness, I can't listen to her show. For that very season. I feel like a shallow a-hole for it, but I change the station. Every. Time.
