Adams (center) and Ibaka (Power Forward) play 2 different positions. We'll see more of Collision, Jones, and Roberson. Jones is our only other true PF on the team though. Issue with Collision and Roberson, they are slow.

I just wonder if Brooks is going to have us starting small (maybe Butler?), or if he'll start NC?

Sure he plays a different position but Ibakas shot blocking, rebounding and rim defense are most able to be filled by Adams. The outside jumpers are going to have to be carried by Westbrook, Durant and Butler is going to have to reemerge from hiding.

A small lineup will give the spurs hell. Maybe with serge out the D tightens up since they won't be expecting him to be there to clean up the mess with a block. Who knows. Okc has the players to give sa hell.

Okc was 4-0 against the Spurs during the season and we have the best bench in the NBA so I'm not too worried. Adams and Collison work their a$$ of on every play when they're on the court. Serge works his off too, hate it for him to work that hard and not get to play in the end. Is he just out for the series or is he out f9r the season?

[conspiracy theory]

You really think the NBA is gonna let a team from fly-over country win a title?

[/conspiracy theory]

The NBA CT theorists believe the opposite. That Durant is the NBA's golden boy and they want him to win at any cost.

Yeah, Serge is out for the rest of the playoffs due to the chance of him re-injuring the same area. I think we'll be fine. Big guys is where we have a true surplus of talent. Heck, I don't think Hasheem has seen the floor all playoffs (he's still a bit reckless, like a young Perkins, so I get it). Our youth should wear the Spurs out.

I think Thabeet played like 1 minute in the Memphis series, lol. Actually, not even sure about that.

And we've got some great players sitting who need some seasoning and can play ball - look at Jeremy Lamb. Played at UConn, serious baller, but once Thabo and RW came back, he's basically sat, except for when we're getting blown out and he'll go in for relief in the last 2-3 minutes. But that boy can really play.

Really glad to see Adams getting alot more playing time, though, I think that kid can be a monster in a few more years. Sucks for Serge, though. :( I agree with keeping him sitting... he's young, has a lot more years ahead of him - a championship this year ain't worth a chance of a career-ending injury.
