I am contemplating my first new vehicle ever. Really want a 2016 Tacoma BAD!

anyone have a trusted person at a Toyota dealership?

I've bought 2 Tacomas from Jim Norton. I liked my salesman OK, but he's gone now.

But everyone else at Jim Norton is a dick, and it's always way too crowded and slow at everything, and did I mention they're dicks?

I go to Fowler now for parts and rentals and they are pretty cool. Never bought from them (wish I would have), but you can start narrowing down your dealership list by crossing off Jim Norton. Unless you like dicks.

Good luck, bought my tundra last summer, spoke with literally 13 dealers between Kansas and Texas, told a few to lose my number, do your homework, get it on paper for what they say they can sell it for listed with all the options you want and make them compete against each other

Gonna add to Ridge's comment, not only are they dicks but every one I tried to deal with there seemed like they had an IQ of no more than room temperature. I buy all my oil and filters straight from Toyota because their factory oil is actually comparable to Mobil 1. Dunno why, but it blows their mind over there if you want to buy in bulk. Went with my parents to buy a new car there, we ended up going to Fowler without getting into a long story. A few months later they had a used Lexus that was exactly what my wife wanted, again ended up buying out of Texas because the douche salesman and manager.

Throwing in my ditto on having a good experience in both sales and service at Fowler for my 2014 Toyota Corolla. I don't have a good contact to give you because my guy is gone.

You might check the Tacoma World web site first. A lot of problems discussed with the all new 2016. I bought one, a V6, 4x4 last November. My first non full size truck and my first Toyota. So far I am not impressed with the performance or build quality.
