I have very little experience in the medical field, only what I saw during my time on our small town volunteer fire department. I’m not setting here saying or telling anyone the shouldn’t use any type of drugs, that’s their choice.

I’m saying I don’t want someone’s choice impacting my life or my property. I am in the minority obviously due to how the vote came out, but again I support medical use for those that actually need it and not the idiots with a bad hang nail ouchie.

As far as gun ownership and the right to carry either concealed or open I support that 100%, and no I don’t like anyone telling me I can not carry.

At the risk of putting words in his mouth, I think he was laughing at the idea that keeping it illegal will prevent theft. And you seem to be proving his point.

If anything, legalizing it should reduce theft as it should reduce cost.

Lots of things wrong with the logic...he assumes that weed will be more accessible after legalization...creating more stoned out thieves...when anyone over the age of 12 can go buy it today right now. And on top of that Pot heads aren't the ones looking to steal, its the pill poppers (dropping $3/pill) and meth heads (who cant hold a job because they are basically retarded) that will give you trouble. know it from experience.

No I agree with you on the laws being anywhere near effective, they are far from it. And yes, thank the good Lord I only caused harm to myself back in the youner days.

If the courts would find some backbone and truly punish the offenders, and no I’m not talking just about mj users but hard drugs, and violent acts of crime, then maybe things would change. Don’t put these knuckle heads in jail with X amount of appeals for years upon years.

I say all of the above if there is not doubt the offender is 100% guilty.

There's no such thing as 100% without-a-doubt...just ask Cameron Todd Willingham.

Oh, wait...you can't; the state already murdered him.

Appeals are a vital part of the process.

I’ve never heard of the fella you mentioned, but, yes there is such a thing as 100%, if there are people that saw the crime, or videos, pictures, etc.

For the ones that have morals and want to see the right thing done, you bet it is.

But there are the people with grudges, and those that are just lacking in morels that will lie. I never said that every person that’s locked up is guilty. Just recently I heard on the news a guy was let out after something like 26 years behind bars.

In those cases the state should have to pay dearly and those that testified against him should be punished. How do you give back that many years to someone wrongfully locked up.
