Just a quick question gents. My sisters drivers license lists a PO Box address and she was told by a local gun store she couldn't purchase a pistol without a physical street address. I've never heard this and was wondering if it's true?
Lots of folks have PO boxes. My inlaws kept getting their mail stolen from the curbside box in a nicer section of Broken Arrow and decided to get a PO box.I thought a PO Box was for people that didn’t have a real address. Like people that bounce around a lot. If that’s so then I can understand why the dealer refused.
You can produce a passport etc that lists a physical address to give the FFL.
Your don't undergo a background check showing place of residence before being issued a valid passport by the US Government? Is that what your saying? They probably won’t accept a passport either, since the only address it shows is one you’re instructed to write down in pencil.
