My son is a R.N.for Valir Hospice. Do you want me to ask him if they need anyone? And if anyone has any connections to a good job in the medical field my wife is looking! I can give you all her info. Or she can do business stuff too.

Yeah, but just try firing a "tribal" person from an office full of whites with no reason given and see what happens.
Same thing happened to my wife in Pawhuska 2yrs. ago. It really sucks .No reason just you're through here.
My youngest son worked at Riverwind casino. He said that there were several times that a group of employees of all levels were fired for no reason. One day they got him too. He went in as usual and was told to turn his ID and stuff in and go home. He was not given a reason.
I don’t know if it would apply because it’s tribal, but is unemployment an option? Isn’t there some federal law to protect employee rights?
Tribes have their own rules, that why they can advertise for employees and specify "Native Americans" preferred.
If you were hiring and put out an ad that said "Whites Preferred", you'd be on national TV. and proclaimed to be the devil.
I'm 100% for tribes hiring who they want, I'd just like to see everyone get the same set of rules. (or better yet, no rules)
The BIA, IHS and tribes can all give hiring preference to Indians . . . it has definitely been misused in the past to hire a less qualified person just based on them being Indian.
