I'm just not creative enough for a ton of ARs

I dont see how some people have so many ARs. I dont care one way or another how many or what one has, I just have a hard time trying to make one different than the previous one. This group buy has me wanting to buy some lowers, but I cant think of a whole lot to do with them. I know...its for a good cause...but it would be cool to actually build them out. But how? I'm drawing a blank on what to do that would make it different than one I already have or serve a different purpose other than taking up space in the safe. Surely I'm not the only one?

Well, you could build one for each variant of the M16 (M16, XM177/CAR-15, M16A2, M4, etc). See how much lightness you can add. Build ones in different calibers. Build for CQB. Build for accuracy. Build for long-range shooting. Build for Tacticool Timmay.

As for taking up space in the safe, what else would you do with them?

I agree. If I were to get more ARs, it would be in more calibers and not 5.56.

That said, I also like to have more than one gun in each caliber SO for 5.56/.223 I also have a beautiful CZ 527 with a really cool Leupold scope on it.

I suppose I could look at oddball calibers. With ammo scarce and having more reloading equipment that is more appealing now than it used to be.
No you don't have to. I took your question as asking why anyone would want more than one AR, that could be enough reason for some people.
