Good place to buy couch/sectional?

Went to Mathis Brothers in Tulsa yesterday. Wow, buying a new vehicle is less pressure. I'm thinking we could just buying a small sawmill and build something. Anybody know a good place in NE OK / NW AR?

The secret to a salesperson free sales experience at a large furniture store is to tell the salesperson, "Yes, I'm looking for accessories....."
There's no sales volume in those and it ties them up for a significant period. The salespeople will leave you alone like you had the plague/covid.

We have purchased from Mathis before maybe it's just crazy now. Yes not much in stock and weeks/months if you want to order.

It was a few years back and may be different now, but we went to Mathis, found the china hutch and dining table that we wanted, got the information off the tag, and ordered it directly from the manufacturer in Georgia at 1/3 less than Mathis including shipping.
Shipping was a little different. There are contractors out there, (at least at that time) that pick up the furniture from the factory and deliver it around the country in moving vans. We got a notification from them that they would be at our home at 4:00am. I met them at the bottom of our hill we live on with a pickup and trailer to load the furniture on as their semi rig would not have room to turn around on top of the hill.
They rode up with me, helped unbox and inspected for any damage telling us if there was any damage that we could refuse the shipment and the shipper would have to pay for the return.
Like I said before, that was a few years back so not sure if that is still an option for some new furniture.

We ordered our sectional in December. Finally got it late March. Furniture takes a long time to get right now. I guess because of the workers at the ports coming into the country are sick or they aren’t letting them work.

also heard ships are having outbreaks onboard so they make them anchor out of the port till everyone isn’t sick. That’s probably the real reason.

I was in the market recently for a new sofa. I went to the Bob Mills store in Tulsa to look. While they advertise that they have no "shopper stalkers," I picked up a salesman almost as soon as I walked through the door. However, working with him was easy and he didn't try to steer me to what would make him the highest commission. I ended up with a simple sofa at a moderate price ($650) that was delivered a week later and professionally set up. It's the best sofa I've owned in decades. I'd definitely recommend to give them a try.

I needed a new sofa and searched the internet and forums and found one that said the Hancock and Moore was the best, lifetime warranty etc. So I ordered one from South Carolina and it was delivered with the wrong feet and they quickly sent the right ones. But I found that somehow sitting on the cushions caused them to collapse over time so I notified them twice that they were worn and they replaced them twice. But still, (I habitually sit int he same seat and position) the place where I sit has dropped. I paid over $3000 and wont' buy one again. We had a Norwalk leather sofa that I gave to my son and wish we'd kept it, it is of far superior quality.

We had a nice little sectional we bought, we really like it, was probably the nicest looking piece of furniture in our home.

Sams club when they have them...they usually have a couch or two, but sometimes they also have real good priced sectionals if you catch them when in-stock. Maybe able to check online and see if they have any available either in-store or online only.

We bought all of our furniture for our lake house from Mathis Brothers in Tulsa. It was a good experience for us. Not much pressure at all but we have been really pressured at the Mathis Brothers here in OKC before. But we still go back. LOL!
