Magnum Research makes a few crazy revolvers but I couldn't say not to this in 45/70. There's no reason a 5 shot SAO should exist in 45/70 which obviously means I needed it.

Interestingly that's not the biggest revolver I have by caliber. Could be a rowdy debate if it's the most powerful though.

odds and ends on mail call.
Found an old magnum Thompson black powder measure. I love this as it starts out at 80gr or just the right amount of trip 7 which=100 gr BP so you can just knock the top off and go without knob twiddlin.
The last screw for my discontinued muzzleloader job. Had to order the thimble just to get the freakin screw. #@^%&
Thompson Nipple wrench for musket caps.
And last but not least, a pair of pinned type pre war Win 30-30 front blade sights. The guy inherited a bunch of gun parts and had them listed as possibly for a Colt Woodsman. Nobody seen them. One has an Ivory bead, maybe my old eyes can see it better I hope. And the dummy sent the the old replacement. If he only knew how hard these are to find. I looked up the number on an old Marbles chart and holy cow like to fell over. Unobtainium.

The trigger feels as light as my trapdoor, and that thing will go off if you breath too heavy near it. So hold on is right. The rounds I've got worked up right now are sending a 405gr cast at about 1560 fps out of that, so I betcha there'll be some recoil impulse.Hold on and get someone to take a pic of that big goofy grin when you touch it off!!
