Make something a crisis, create fear, increase poverty, division of the people , "othering" those who are not in the group, controll of goods, limiting movement, and vilification of previous government officials. All in an effort to obtain total control of the groupthink. Thus ensuring dominance. Where have we seen this play out over and over again in world history?

We didn't stop for anything other than bathroom stops while going through NM, so I can't argue your point. However, I have to ask if you live there or have family or friends that do and can verify that your statements are correct.
I have a pretty nice pad there and spend about half my time there. I have many employees, friends, and assorted acquaintances there.

Without a doubt, I'm sure.

We spent a week in NM during the shutdown in the RV when they had the 14 day quarantine.
Nobody was enforcing anything.
Toured the Whittington center and several other local attractions. A few masks around but mostly none.
Al the state owned parks. Streams, lakes were shut down.
Spent two months in Antonio Colorado fishing the Rio Los Pinos in NM. It was “closed”, but we just walked through the tape and fished it twice a week.
Colorado was mandatory masks but it was widely ignored with no enforcement. Some business were strict on it though. So we spent our money in the ones that ignored the regs.

Bud, that sounds like an awesome trip!

I actually like NM (except for all the liberal loons). Some pretty nice hunting there too.

You know ... If this malarkey keeps expanding, more people will starve to death than die of any other cause ... while good food spoils on the shelves ...

Hoarding is starting to sound more like surviving than mental illness. Sam's - here we come!

Not hoarding, I call it prepared. I live very rural in the sense that the entire county population is 3600. Other than a convenience store everything is half hour drive minimum. We have had ice and snow storms that have had us isolated for weeks with no electricity before we could get out.

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There's a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.”
― Ronald Reagan

It's amazing that this was obvious to so many people just 30 years ago. I imagine ol' Reagan is shaking his head at what we've allowed this country to become!!!! Hide in our homes because the government requires us too....

The New Mexico Governor is a prime example of government expanding outside its mandate. The socialists keep voting her in, they continue to get what they voted for. No pity from me for those idiots!

Yeah, we're 'far out' as well. We stock up, gas up, and do whatever other 'errands' need doing once or twice a month.
