My other kiddo got it done this afternoon. She asked me to sit with her and, well, when your 21 yo daughter asks, you can’t say no. I took her back to the same stand that her sister hunted in yesterday because she had 2 shooters and I had been seeing an even bigger buck working a scrape line in that same area. Addison shot her buck at 5:05pm yesterday and Ainsley shot this one at 5:06pm.

Came out in the wheat mid day. 235 yards with the Ruger Ranch 7.62x39.

Rattled in 2 last night. I wish tropihies upon them both, but I hope my nephews don’t shoot those two. They’re both stupid. The deer, not my nephews. My son ran the grunt tube while I rattled. We had a 2.5yo come in but I didn’t get a video. My boy was convinced it was his grunt work. Coulda been. it sounded hella better when I turned it backwards and made him start sucking on it. Not the best deer weather, but a beautiful evening in NW OK.
