Was in line at walmart in broken arrow this morning. They got 4 cases in, so 40 boxes of federal 550 count bulk. 13 people in line in front of me... Means I get one box right... I'm OK with that as I just want shooting ammo not hoarding or reselling. Stand there the whole time... Just as the guy in front of me gets his turn he looks at me and says your not reselling yours are you? I say no I'm not I'm just getting hunting ammo. He tells cashier give me one of his boxes he only needs two.... I hope karma smiles on whoever he was.... Kindness appreciated whoever you were.... uploadfromtaptalk1396544250548.jpg

Nice! It's interesting the BA Walmart would have gotten that quantity; an employee at the Walmart at Admiral and Memorial told me that they'd put out 4 cases of the same stuff on Tuesday morning. Surprisingly, it took about two hours before they sold out. The hoarders up there are slacking!

That was cool the guy did that. Just wished all were that way out there. But that would be utopia wouldn't it? LOL! We have a gent in the classifieds right now trying to double his money on same brand, not right at all.

That's because in that part of town they're shooting each other with larger ammo.

I have mixed feelings about the guys that get in line at 5AM at Wall-mart waiting to scarf up all the ammo they can. I do not like price gouging. I do not like hoarders. However, I also do not like the shortage and the "rationing".

I am not a morning person. My nearest Wall-mart is 17 miles away, and I do not know when I need to be there to pick up a box of ammo to beat the crowd.

If I were to get up before daylight, (3 hours earlier than usual) drive 17 miles, be number 23 in line, hoping the delivery truck might show up with enough to make it through the line, might not today, come back next week. ---- Or ----- pay a premium to someone for 8 boxes, delivered by UPS to my door 3 days after my "order" in the afternoon when I am up and around and awake.

The gas I would have used driving to Wall-mart picking up 8 boxes more than paid for the freight and most of the premium for 8 boxes. Time (especially my morning sleep time) made up the rest. I am happy, seller is happy. A little like "contract labor", he provided a service of being there to purchase what I needed multiple mornings, I paid him his cost, plus expenses, plus some for his time. If he gets his costs too far out of line, I fire him and get a new supplier.

Supply and demand has it's checks and balances. Sometimes it takes a while to balance out, but it usually does unless the government gets involved, then all bets are off, every man for himself.
