Weight can sometimes be deceptive. Agreed that this particular "hero" is not who he says he is, but check out the picture on this guy.

As you say, a little "chunky".

Most of the SF type guys I was around in RVN were small wiry type guys. There were a few bigger guys, but most were very tough small guys.. Blitzfike

While I see your point, but the guy in the article was not retired/older and was claiming active duty. I find it incredibly hard to believe a active duty SF member would have that large of a spare tire wrapped around him. That's my point.

Same with rodeo riders i think. It seems like most are less than 6' tall and wiry tough.
