Any 7.62X25 thats listed as surplus will be corrosive primed so you'll need to spray down the bore and the guts of the gun with Windex. Once home tear it down, spray some more, clean with warm soapy water, dry and then oil.
Try to get Fiochii or Privi-Partisain ammo. Neither of these are corrosive primed.

My uncle just got into 7.62x25. Be careful of steel core ammo.......there is a lot of it out there

You can not shoot steel core ammo inside most, if any indoor ranges. Steel has a tendency to ricochet.
it also penetrates easy
Got some from JG Sales at $7.70 per 70rd box.
That will have corrosive primers, so make sure you clean it well right after your done shooting.
