I don't think there's a limit on how many you can build, as long as you don't build them with the intention to resell them.

Only place I have seen these, they were about $100. Unless there is a cheaper place, I will just buy a stripped lower.

AK receivers are the same way. You can buy an 80% and build it yourself but you can't sell it after completion. There is one obvious advantage to doing it this way.

I'm not familiar with what it takes to complete and 80% AR receiver but I'm interested. I've not completed my 80% AK receiver I have around here but it doesn't look too bad. But yet, it just sits waiting for me. Dang I'm lazy sometimes...
