In general, I'd try to keep them under 1000frps to avoid leading issues. With seriously hardcast lead you can exceed 1000fps, but you have to manage the alloy used.

For 9mm used for USPSA competition, I'd be using 147gr lead loads.

I haven't quite made the jump to all lead 9mm bullets, but will likely do so soon.
I shot a lot of lead through my 45 longboat in Cowboy action. Titegroup is great choice
Using it in my .38/357 magnum lead loads.
3.1, 3.4 with Lee tl124rn. Wheel weights.
No problems
Wait a minute. I thought Solo 1000 is a faster powder than Titegroup, not slower. At least it is shown as faster on my powder burn rate chart.
