A refreshing OC situation yesturday

Was in line to check out at Circle K and saw a LEO walk in. He was OK Co. then I'm checking out and the gal hands me my change and I see the LEO coming my way to check out. Hes approaching my right side where my 1911 is holstered and when I look up at the approaching man, I see he's focused on my gun. I give him a smile and return to putting my cash in my wallet so I can leave. He says to me "sir", I reply "yes", he says "thank you for exercising your rights". I said "thank you for that, you be safe out there" and I gave him a wink and left. Kinda kool.

That is nice. I don't think cops are nearly as anti-gun as the media and most gun-control advocates would like to have us believe.

Good for the LEO but bravo to you for representing open carry in a positive light. Too often there is some sad bag of donuts playing show n' tell which makes all gun owners look bad.
