\I went cruising around Lake Optima today and found this doe near the old office building. I got out of my truck to take some pics and this is what happened....
This is when I first saw her.
And then she saw me. At first I thought she was just curious and would take off as soon as she realized what I was.
She got tired of the sun, so she found herself a shady spot.
Being nosy.
I told her she should hold onto my rifle, in case mean Mr. Coyote showed up.
I walked her into a nearby draw and sent her on her way.
This is one my student's pets. He wasn't allowed to keep it by ther Wildlife Department so he took out to optima to let it go. It has since returned to town and roams around Hardesty.
Really? I told my girlfriend she's lucky I didn't bring it home, I think it'd be a pretty cool pet.
From what I've seen about all the dogs, seems she owes you a deer! It would be pretty sweet to have a mulie for a pet.

That is so cool. I'm glad she didn't get smacked by a car or a coyote.
Can confirm.
Although not really sure where this deer is now. No longer in Hardesty. I suspect she got ate by coyotes.
dang I didn't know we had so many flat land dwellers on here I guess next time I am out there I will have to buy you guys some drinks or show you pictures of trees or something like that.
