PPL since 1977, 1200 hrs. Live at Twin Lakes airpark (2OK2) in SE OKC, building a Rans S19 kit, 1/2 owner of C150, with my brother. He has/built a Van's RV9A, that also stays in my hangar.
Don't know how many of you have heard, but an Eagle Flight medivac helicopter went down this morning in OKC at Rockwell and Britton Road, just of NW Expressway. It is an apparently a fairly heavily populated area and the pilot set it down in a roadway, avoiding hitting a nursing home and other structures. Details are scetchy, but it apparently lost power and went down hard, then exploded on the ground. At least two of the 3 person crew was lost and one is in critical condition. Just goes to show how training and instinct can save a lot of lives. A lot of people should be grateful to a courageous and skilled pilot.
Commercial Single/Multi Engine Land Airplane with around 250 hours TT...currently working on my CFI-A right now. Sometimes I have to take a look around and realize there is more to life than airplanes, because when you're studying for CFI, you eat, breathe and sleep aviation.
Eventually hope to get my CFI-I and MEI, then see where God leads me. Airlines are fine, corporate is fine and even just being a professional flight instructor will be fine. Just want to earn enough to pay the bills and maybe put some green in a coffee can.
I'd love to lend a hand to any of you who are building kits....I've always wanted to do that myself.
I'm a student pilot with about 15yrs experience and 200hrs. complex endorsement and still no license lol. sad I know.
my dad is an ATP, CFI, MEI, CFII and owns 5 planes, which he uses to flight instruct at his company AirOne Flight Academy. I'm not real big on flying but I love to work on them. I now own a maintenance facility at Sundance Airpark its called Aircraft Maintenance Team Inc.
if you need a 100hr or annual inspection or even an oil change please let me know. I would be happy to help out.
Private Pilot here with a 1946 Cessna 120. A fun hobby but haven't been flying much lately due to work and weather. Be glad when the fly-in season starts, I usually take my 11yr old son so a fun time for us.
Commercial SEL. To fly you need access to an airplane and money to support the habit. Back in '73 I ran out of one or the other. I'm glad I got motorboats and airplanes out of my system as a kid. Also FAA certified Air Traffic Controller in the USAF - best job I ever had - or will have, for that matter.
