I'm a student pilot with about 15yrs experience and 200hrs. complex endorsement and still no license lol. sad I know.
my dad is an ATP, CFI, MEI, CFII and owns 5 planes, which he uses to flight instruct at his company AirOne Flight Academy. I'm not real big on flying but I love to work on them. I now own a maintenance facility at Sundance Airpark its called Aircraft Maintenance Team Inc.
if you need a 100hr or annual inspection or even an oil change please let me know. I would be happy to help out.

No airplane, but thinking hard about building one.

Why did you quit flying the gyro? I think one of those could be a lot of fun.

I was at the point where I needed to spend a couple of grand to overhaul the engine and get a check ride and a few other things. I had recently had an uneventful forced landing (gyros are great for that) because of a clogged fuel filter; and that spooked me a little.
At some point the new wears off of hobbies and they become more work than enjoyment. I just decided it was time to move on and get serious about shooting.

It was a lot of fun though.
