Maybe this is the result of certain members of congress saying, "we're coming for you." This is the United States i believe but it sounds like Soviet Russia under Stalin.
My guess would be these retailers got a call from the State of OK et. al. regarding collecting sales tax and they are setting up their accounts with the various states.
