Have always loved sleepers. Cousin had a Nash Metropolitan with a 215 V-8 aluminum Buick engine in it back in the 60s. He kept a trunk full of spare rear axels, and it was so low geared it would only do about 80, but through an intersection it was truly astonishing. Rear end was, I think, about .460.

Last time I saw him he had a Sunbeam Tiger with a 351 Cleveland stuffed in it. It was properly sprung, etc, and ate rice burners at will. Ate dang near everything else too, though he isn't as competitive as he once was. CB

Holy crap - a Tiger with a Clevo would be a suicide machine; way too much with the skinny pedal, and not nearly enough with the fat one. Tigers are notorious for poor brakes, but with that fat-headed mill in it.....holy crap! Run out from under you, then couldn't stop it! Being a die-hard Ford guy - and a Tiger fan as well - I'd love to look that one over real good sometime.

We had a guy in College, who's dad gave him a Tiger with a 289 HO stuffed in it. That thing was blinding fast. He ended up wrapping it around a phone pole.
He survived, but took a long time to recover.
I can't imagine a 351C in one.:mosh:
