Nice job Jeff, I'm Interested in what hardware & What thickness kydex your using? I got a 12x48 .100 sheet locally for 14$. A lil to thick to easily work with but I did an alright holster for my first try. Prly see if they have thinner if I decide to mess around with it anymore.

Nice job. Here is a bit of what I hope will be received as constructive criticism although it can be interpreted as my lack of preparation: I would put the screw on the outside, so I could adjust the tension after I had the belt on. Sometimes things come loose during the match, or you might want an additional little bit of tension during a vigorous stage.

I'm using .093 for mag holders. I'm gonna do a DOH holster next.

Actually the screw head is under the cap on the front side. The back side countersink net also has a slot for a screwdriver, but the tension is adjustable from the front side. thanks.

where do you get kydex? how do you mold it?
I ordered mine from Northcoast knives; http://www.northcoastknives.com/northcoast_knives_Supplies3.htm
It's heat-formed. I use a heat gun and a jig.

Some more pics of it. I finished the edges and tightened up / smoothed out the bends some;

Here's an adjustable version of the 1911 mag holder I did this evening.
The cant is adjustable on these. I'll do one for the STI mags later, but the next project is a holster.

My pain-fueled insomnia was productive. Did my first holster last night.
It's fast. Like really fast. but it won't just let the pistol fall out. It maintains a nice little grip on the triggerwell.
I decided on a drop and offset style, but I didn't want either the drop or the offset to be too drastic so it's something like a half inch out and down.

The pics are with a camera phone, so they suck.

If you ever get into making double mag pouchs for a single stack 1911, I would be interested in buying one.

I could probably come up with something. I was thinking about the best way to do it. I figure it out and fab something up and see how you like it.

I owe BadgerLB a template and proof of concept on a M&P9. I did something up based on dimensions, but it didn't feel right. So i'm borrowing a mag from a buddy to put something together. he's first, then I'll work on the double for you.
