Another scam! This one tells you not to pay your past-due bills!

I got a phone call I let go to voicemail yesterday.

Can you believe this crap?

Forgiveness programs have been placed in noncollectible status meaning you no longer have to pay them back. We highly advise you not to pay any more of your debt until we discuss your options Once again, call us back at telephone number 8 8 8- 2 0 1- 0 2 5 5 or reach me on my direct line at extension three by calling the number back showing on your caller ID thank you for your time and I look forward to helping you soon…

Telling people they don't have to pay their debts. Well, the prayer does say "forgive us our debts."

Possibly a scam by debt collectors. If one has a debt that is no longer collectable, the clock starts ticking again once you admit to it...

Got a call the other day from some supposed tax relief company saying I "may" have past due taxes. I thought my CPA would have a good laugh at that.
