Once. I did some study and started learning the math. I looked at Riverwind then set up a blackjack game software at home to match their game configuration. There was no way to make any money with it, it was statistically impossible.
They had a seemingly high number of decks and then there was something else they did (I can't remember what it was) that made it impossible to capitalize on a good hand enough to keep you over 100% payout for any length of time. Even taking that last change out, I seem to remember they had a bet limit that would throttle your hourly take to $8/hr or so.
But hell that was 5,6 years ago things may have changed since then.
