Any Vizio LCD owners out there?

I love the 26" Vizio I bought at Walmart. Great TV at a great price. I don't know if I'd buy a 55" Vizio. Once you get into that price range, you might as well just buy the best thing out there (my mentality at least). But I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed with a Vizio.

I got a 32" vizio 1080p 120hz for Christmas last year. Great picture and works great so far nearly a year in use. No problems at all. Sams has the 42" right now for $538. That is the 1080p 120hz. Cannot beat the value.

I agree that LG tvs are amazing. I have one and I love it. I have several friends that have Vizio and I think they are very good TV's.

:offtopic2:
This is a bit off topic but I read online that 32'' TVs will be selling for 199 around black friday. The wife and I are planning on getting one this year.

I've never understood this. If you couldn't tell in the store or didnt research enough to know what the set was capable of, why would you buy it in the first place??

it didnt look that bad in the store, but then again a crappy tv in a store full of crappy tvs is going to look ok.

I did research them, I didnt want to buy it, the wife thought it was a good deal at the price so we took a chance. had it for 2 days and back it went.

Plus it had instructions in spanish! Had to take it back after I noticed that.

Samsung is the best you can get. Sony uses the same screen but different engine. Vizio... YMMV but like most people, you will never know the difference if you just buy one and go with it. If you had the two side by side for a month, the difference would be amazing and the decision would be simple.

If you're looking to save every last penny right now, go with Vizio and hope it doesn't crap out.

If you're looking to spend a little more and be sure that you made the right long term decision, then find a similarly featured Samsung for about 15-20% more in price and be assured you've got a quality product.

Brother in law has 2 of the 32" strictly for xbox. The picture is great, the sound leaves a little to be desired.

As far as quality, there is always someone playing xbox at his house and we had some marathons on COD and BC2. The Vizios have been trucking right along for 2 years now, no problems at all. Can't say the same for his Mitsubishi.
