Picked this F.I.E. D86 Derringer at a garage sale today. I will clean it up and go though it. It has been neglected for awhile.
SIL bought 1000 rounds of CCI Blazer Brass 380s and doesn’t like how they perform in his Browning. He sold me what’s likely about 800 rounds and tossed in the new ammo can for $300.

But I tell ya people that for pure fun,,,
It's hard to beat this little gem.
I've had this 4X BSA scope on it for years,,,
If I can brace on anything it's "Minute of Coke Can" at 100 yards.
Recently I've been shooting my "Faux Steel/Paper Plate Challenge" with it,,,
That's where one takes normal stages of a Steel Challenge match,,,
And sets them up using 10" paper plates for all targets.
The scope, while precise, is just too slow to acquire the targets,,,
So I decided to replace it with a red dot of some ilk.
I went online to Cabela's and chose an inexpensive Aim Sport for $39.95,,,
I chose the Aim Sport because of it's slightly larger 24mm x 34mm objective diameter.
I've only aimed it at my cat but it's much quicker to find the target,,,
And I think it's sorta sexy looking which is always a bonus.
I'll go to my range Monday to get it properly dialed in at 50 yards,,,
I do realize that it's not going to be a precision shooter,,,
But for 10" plates at less than 30 yards distance,,,
It should do just fine.
In that same order I purchased a cloth strap for my CZ-512 Carbine,,,
The two items came to my home in two separate packages,,,
I found it amusing that the strap was in a padded box,,,
While the Red Dot came in a thin padded envelope.
Go figure,,,

Picked up this S&W “ Lady Smith “ in .357 mag. from a fellow member. Thought I might use it for EDC for a while to see if I can come into contact with my feminine side. Who knows, maybe I will want to trade sides.
