Catt57 has kept me up to date on all that he has done to this Ithaca. Like I told him it looks good and I'm happy it found a good home where someone could show it some love it deserved. I stripped the flaking cerakote off the receiver.

And gave it a coat of metallic copper Rustoleum.

Refinished the stock. Yes, that is dark walnut. It's a white wash stain.

Finally I had to tap the stripped screw hole to the next size I had and fabricate a new set screw from the end of a bolt.

I put 200 rounds through it yesterday and it was flawless. It takes 10/22 mags which is cool but their mag that comes with it holds the bolt open which is really cool. Also you just push a button and the whole fire control unit comes out in one piece for easy cleaning. I like everything about it.You're gonna like that Wildcat!
