Got a pistol stand for my Wilson Combat
I got this basket case Ithaca 49 awhile back.

I stripped the flaking cerakote off the receiver.

And gave it a coat of metallic copper Rustoleum.

Refinished the stock. Yes, that is dark walnut. It's a white wash stain.

Finally I had to tap the stripped screw hole to the next size I had and fabricate a new set screw from the end of a bolt.

And ended up with this fully functional rifle.

These videos show the full teardown and reassembly. They were invaluable in putting this one back together.Any tips on breaking one all the way down? My brother and I have one that we both learned to shoot on but it won't fire anymore. Thinking the hammer spring needs to be replaced.
