Anybody get anything cool that is gun-related today?

Maybe the rifle is upside down...

Not sure what's going on with Academy. Most everywhere else has shelves full of ammo (still overpriced). Academy on 240 sill has the same roll around cart with overpriced ammo that had all of last year.
That's why they still have the same roll around cart of overpriced ammo as last year . . . because it's [way] overpriced. Maybe the manager at Academy Sports-240 is a tad bit anti-2A but keeps it private so as not to lose the management job 🤔

That is, in my opinion, one of the finest configurations for an AR. Simple, lightweight and easy to use. Once you get those A1 sights dialed in your immune from the knob-twisters that like to fiddle-f*** around with everything. Only thing I'd change now would be the grip to an A1-style (or an MOE...even better) and a basic sling.
You are correct on the A1 grip, I have one on order now👍

IIRC the Academy on 240 had some assholes swipe ammo off the shelf into a backpack a while back which prompted the wagon behind the counter.

I haven't been in that location in 2 years.
I was in the Norman Academy yesterday. Ammo shelves were pretty well stocked. The boxes had magnetic security strips and boxes were taped shut.
Theft must have gotten rampant.

A few hands chopped off would probably slow that down.

I don’t know if this is small or large rifle primer but it’s in stock

Out of stock, but I did find 100 rounds of Sig Saur brass reasonably priced at Red River Reloading tonight.
I know the rules. Pics will be posted when they arrive. :D

Hmmm, when I click on it, it shows to be in stock
I looked at it last night showing out of stock, so they must have updated their website since then. I didn't refresh it today, just went to ammoseek and found the Sig brass. Didn't know much about that headstamp so did some internet research. It appears to have a good reputation and made in the USA so I jumped on it.
Thank you very much for doing the research on the Peterson brass. Top quality stuff.
