So FedEx screwed the pooch. I called shipper, they sent another. Then both showed up (weeks after "delivered") called back being honest. Can't return ammo, just keep the replacement order.View attachment 260802

I called them 3x, willing to pay for the extra that came after 2 weeks. Finally I got a Cust rep willing to listen to the issue. I just need to send back the sling I also ordered with it.

Edit: 2 weeks after delivery date.

I’m a patient man, so if they aren’t available it will be a safe queen until prices come back down.

Some of the sites carrying the Lapua brass on ammoseek.com was over $100 per 50 rounds. I don't buy stupid.

Almost forgot. I went to check ammo prices at Academy (81st and 169 in Tulsa) on Friday and they had SIG Sauer 365 115 gr 9mm JHP ammo for $22.99 a box (or thereabouts.) I remembered seeing it at Action Arms for less so I ran over there and picked up a box (all I could afford) for $18.99 for the same box. I have a box I bought some years ago and in comparing the boxes, I noticed that the price sticker was still on it. I can't remember where I picked it up from (possibly Bullitt Firearms) but I got it for $14.00.

Academy had said awhile back they were going to raise their prices (not exponentially) but enough that it would cut back on the profits of the secondhand market...now they are a giant corp who likes money so take their reasoning with a grain of salt
