Got the retro 2 position aluminum buttstock and retro A1 grip in today and installed on my retro rifle.
Now just waiting for my 6 hole colt carbine hand guard to come in.

I'm curious about the "ATF is interested" meme that was posted about my ammo stash,,,
Is there a limit to how much ammo a person may own before the ATF knocks down one's door?

I have received hostile messages about me being a neck-beard hoarder,,,
And I truly don't understand the animosity towards my stash.

It's not like it';s going to go to waste in mt closet,,,
And I have never resold any of it for a profit

Except for this last year I shoot a lot of rimfire on a regular basis,,,
When I go to the range, especially with semi-auto pistols, it's common to shoot 2-3-400 rounds,,,
And any friend of mine who has trouble finding ammo for their kids shooting trips gets some of my stash at it's original price.

The one thing I won't do however,,,
Is sell any of my ammo to my adult friends.

They are grown-arsed people just like I am,,,
If shooting is important to them,,,
They can hunt it down,,,
Just like I do.

My will specifies that my best friend will inherit most of my guns and ammo,,,
He has three boys who I gave .22 rifles to so it will be welcome.

At last look my ammo spreadsheet shows that I have,,,
67,470 rounds of my four favorite brands,,,
3,790 rounds of odd lot brands,,,
For a total of 71,260 rounds.

Most of this was purchased at the lower price of past times,,,
Meaning it was cheaper to buy and store it,,,
Than it is to buy it now.

Since I have budgeted for it and can afford it,,,
I'll keep on buying $75.00 worth of .22 ammo each month.

And if I don't get to shoot it before I take the dirt nap,,,
My friend and his kids will get that pleasure.

All I know for certain is this,,,
I'll never repeat the times of the Obama Drought.

Going to the range with only a single-shot rifle,,,
And one box of ammo truly sucked.

P.S. For those of you who clicked the "like" button,,,
I appreciate your support for my ammo strategy.

You sir, are a smart man. Being prepared and stocking up on 22lr is a SMART plan. If you don’t shoot it all, it may be good barter someday in the near future.
I certainly hope that the nasty messages were not from any members here, if so; shame on them. Guess they should have been better prepared themselves, you know that whole personal responsibility thing?
And I think the ATF meme was more in jest. But then again you never know.

I'm guessin' the general idea is that ATF (and other agencies) may frequent gun forums like OSA, just to find those dumb enough to admit illegal activities.

Who knows what other lists they're making in anticipation of future "rules" ... :lookaroun
