Anybody get anything cool that is gun-related today?

Long story but a cousin called today saying his wife’s cousin passed away and he was the only gun guy the knew and needed some items disposed of.
live ammo, brass, dies, boxes, bullets, casting molds shotgun reloading supplies and so on.
This is what I got. More to come as the storage is cleaned out.

My Springfield Waypoint 2020 arrived today. 20” carbon fiber barrel in 308, carbon fiber stock, topped with a Leupold VX-5HD, 3-15X44 CDS.

Feeling the weight of this thing, it is definitely going to be one of my old man hunting rifles. I could carry it all day.

Now to work up some hunting loads. @dennishoddy hint hint

My last 'build' was that way. In fact, most of my builds have been. Picked up a '98 Mauser for a good price, knowing the barrel was probably shot out (original 8x57). It was. I have $700 in that 'cheap' project!

It never ends. Was loading for the new 6.5 CM today when the Hornady electronic powder thrower/scales went bonkers today. There goes another half a grand into the project.

I've never seen a "carbon fiber" barrel. Do they shoot any more accurate than a steel one?
