Anybody still cast their own from scrap lead?

I still cast but very seldom use tin but my brother gave me 9#'s of tin he got from his work making glass when they had a accident and it got mixed with the glass and spilt on the floor.

I use tin and lead and silver and have made hard wheel weight round balls for muzzloader just wanted to find out what they shot like and if they deformed.

I used to buy that lead solder in a 1 LB spool for a buck each at auctions as no one really wanted it.

Now Kester rosin or acid core solder I would pay more for it.
Usually 6 bucks a pound was my max.
I soldered a lot of copper wire and radiators.

Not many copper brass radiators around today for replacement ones.
Seems everything went to aluminum.
