Manufacturers of power and telephone and telegraph poles used number headed nails for year made. That doesn't look right for that. Went to work for a communication company in 1977. Lots of old pole had them. Later they changed to branding manufacturer, date and class.

Copper rivet used on a lot of old farm equipment,knife handles etc. Anywhere you want a secure connection without using a bolt and nut . tens of thousand of aluminum ones Used in boats and airplanes. Get them in copper,aluminum,stainless depending on material your fastening.

That is what everyone else thinks but cannot find pictures of like product.
