I’d bet the ATF is going to be on their own enforcing their rule. You’d have to be caught doing something else illegal with a brace equipped firearm before you’d end up on their radar.
This is true. Or, you can tell on yourself in a gun forum in the reddest state in the Union that has without a doubt the most liberal guns laws second maybe to AZ or MT.

You must not watch much YouTube or the news. Lets talk about the idiots running speed drills, room clearing drills, home defense drills with the brace shouldered the entire time. Now lets move on to those effin morons that were making lightening links calling them key cards! Or maybe the douche canoes in Houston making and Glock switches! The gun community brought this on themselves! Joe Biden just signed the paper. He is a douche. Cant stand the man. But place your anger where it is due.
You pretty much nailed it, and I was vilified on this forum by a former mod that owned a gun shop for my comments saying the same.
The brace was a work around to get a legal SBR. I don't have a problem whatsoever with anyone owning an SBR, as it's just a big pistol. It's a government reg that I don't agree with just like speed limits on highways.
The gun community brings all this rain down on their own heads by workarounds, but in the end, will the uprising relax some of those ATF regs?
Nope, not while the dims are in office.
The decision to ban or allow should rely on one part of the government. The congress.
Elected officials that can be held accountable for their decisions should make these laws, but they have relinquished their responsibility to the swamp so they can't be held accountable.

I agree 💯. I am young. Most ppl I talk to are under the age of 35. 9 times out 10 it is not good. Most believe the government is correct and we should listen and they know better. Not sure how many of you over the age of 35 actually speak to the young generation. If you do not you should. That’s a problem in itself. If you do not talk to them who will? The government? Well they believe the government.
That is a great comment, and a lot on here should reflect on that.
High school niece had a pool party at our place last summer. A couple of the young guys (not outside where the girls in bikini's were) started talking about how bad the USA was, which certainly opened me up to a conversation with them as I was chaperoning them inside. They pretty much agreed with the MSM about how bad the USA was.
I don't know if I changed their minds, but we did have that conversation. The socialism concepts in their conversation they brought up as talking points was pretty disturbing.
I agree with you that we need to get involved in the youth and let them know the truth.

According to the ATF special agent website, there are 1,714 special agents posted across 25 field divisions, hundreds of field and satellite offices, and overseas locations as of December 2019.

This number has likely changed in 2023, as the agency has continued to hire new agents. In fact, the ATF is currently accepting applications for special agent positions.

Just posted for info.

Historically, the NFA was originally an attempt to create a de facto ban on handguns because they were easily concealed. Including SBRs and SBS into the NFA was to prevent people from circumventing the ban on handguns by cutting down their rifles and shotguns to make them concealable. It was eventually decided that handguns wouldn’t be regulated by the act, but SBRs and SBS would still fall under NFA regulation.

Suppressors fell under that government control as well as something used by criminals which was absurd as everyone knows suppressors are not silent.

It’s music to their ears. They watch families work all the time one or both parents are not home. Socialism sounds amazing because they do not or seldom work. They in turn have more freedom to do as they please. You then have ppl running for president (A Yang) wanting to give a monthly income to help ppl. Young ppl loved it, just was not enough of them to vote or make their vote matter. For myself talking to the older generation is hard because they do not want to listen or have to explain themselves. I get that but the new generation is different we are in an informational age where we want to know “why”. Because I said so does not work anymore. The young generation has no communication from the wisdom keepers.

2,000 agents and millions of brace equipped firearms out there doesn’t sound seem like bad odds for people that otherwise keep their noses clean. Plus, numerous local law enforcement agencies that have made public that they won’t cooperate with enforcing the pistol brace ban unless the person is committing a serious crime.

Just listened to Jared on Guns and Gadgets and he was reporting that just over 255,000 or (.06%) firearms had been registered as sbr's during the grace period. If the numbers of 10,000,000 to 40,000,000 are anywhere near correct this is one big STFU to the atf and our communist leadership.
