Made up 5 of them today. Found my good camera, and set up a board at 15 yds this time. I didn't have a good rest and called both of the flyers. Still accurate and powerful enough at that distance to pass completely through the board.

I saw this listed in the last Sportsman's Guide I got.

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=593401

Looked interesting. Looks even MORE interesting after seeing what you have done with it.

Maybe I'll have to get me one or two of 'em.

Dave

I saw that too. Went through the checkout process to see what it would cost to buy one of them deivered to my door. Pretty expensive with shipping and handling.
I might be making some for a whole lot less.

Step 1: Review your purchases.
Step 2: Enter your shipping and credit card billing address.

Wonder if you could make one out of brass bar stock and add a small piston? Don't know what the back pressure would be on something like this though.

Now Ive got something else Ive got to get around to making, thanks. That is really cool though Ive heard of people boring out pistol rounds to use larger primers and loading wax bullets to practice w/ revolvers. I know where some flying rats might get to try out the receiving end of some of those.

awesome... this is better than a normal 22cal ar :D but i think it will cost more cause of the round. if you do the math one 223 round can make it into 3 x 22 cal round. hmm..

I'm not sure what you mean by "cost more." Its basically a single shot .22 cal pellet rifle using a 209 primer and reusable .223 case/chamber adapter. How much are 209 primers and 22 cal pellets per shot?
