Doesn't hurt to simply hold onto the arm and let it collect dust for the moment. If the gun bans don't pass then I foresee a flood of panic bought arms and ammo being sold on the cheap side. If the gun bans do pass, then you'll be glad you kept the arm as you'll need it eventually. Arms in the safe are a life insurance policy for you and your loved ones.

of course, if you believe that, then NOW is the time to sell and then rebuy later when everything is cheaper again.
