ATFE table at DFW area gun show recording private transactions

I was talking to my Uncle, who lives in the DFW area, he was at a local show, he said the building has two levels, the show was on the lower level, upper level is I guess open so you can see down into the show. The venders where split, dealers on one side, privates sellers with tables on the other, the ATF was in the balcony(upper level) video recording the private sellers. He told me the ATF had a table at the show, it was the same people at the table, and then up above recording, he said they made no bones about it, they where opening recording the privates sales, has anyone else been to a show in Texas and noticed this? It was the first time he had ever seen the ATF with a table at a gun show.

I have seen ATF at several shows handing out literature..seemed ok to me.

They will continue to push the envelope to get their way until either you just cant do business at gun shows anymore or the supreme court tells draws a line and says they cant cross it.

One of the options for closing the tradeshow loophole is to have an atf at the show who can recieve private seller guns and transfer them to the buyer.
I am guessing that this is just a tool for deciding if that option is going to work.

Can't imagine they'll ever have enough sworn agents to pull that off, unless that's part of the plan. Then again, would you really need a sworn agent to do that?

I won't attend any show that allows the ATF to purchase a table.
