They're both long gone.
Yeah, I found an article in the Tulsa World about Perry's Food Store taking over the south Tulsa Bruner's location, but I'm not a subscriber, so they didn't want me to read it. A quick DDG search shows that Perry's took over the Bruner's location 10 years ago, then closed up shop for good in 2021.

Strange that searching still shows Bruner's as being in that location. You'd think it would drop off the listings after a decade...

What is your favorite butcher shop for buying brisket for smoking?
I picked up a tri-tip at the local grocery store the other day. $3.99 a lb vs $4.99 for brisket. It was well marbled so I marinated it for three hours this morning, put it on the pellet grill at 250* for three hours uncovered with Head Country seasoning, then used the Texas crutch for an additional 2.5 hrs.
Dang that thing was good. Literally fork tender.
Don’t know if I’ll ever buy a brisket again that’s more expensive, and has 30% waste after trimming the fat.

Costco. They actually grade theirs and I've seen prime.
Most of the grocery stores just put them out without a grade.
I cooked on the BBQ circuit for a couple of years with/against Danny Head that built Head Country BBQ sauce. He won the Grand Nationals twice with brisket in his turn-ins.
His comment to me was that brisket was the hardest part of a beef to grade when looking at one.
That man cooked thousands of briskets so I'm assuming he knows of where he speaks.
I was going to suggest Costco too. Their prices on prime, when they have it, is shockingly inexpensive.

I got a flyer in the mail this week that says the CashSaver on south Peoria has USDA Select beef brisket for $3.17/lb (with fine print that say "plus 10% added at checkstand").
