Best Salmon

I love a good creame cheese and salmon bagel. That being said, I can name on one hand how many times I've had Salmon that didn't taste way too fishy. Too fishy means not fresh or prepared correctly . Any of you had a reliable smoked salmon (no way to get fresh where we are)? I'm talking a brand name in the deli section.

Aldis is carrying fresh, never frozen salmon. Should be easier to find from here on out. The commercial salmon season is starting in Alaska and Canada and should peak in June/July time frame.

Smoked salmon isn't fresh salmon. It's cured first, then cold smoked.
