Bread yeast

I asked the other .5 to pick me up some dry active yeast when she went to the store....said it was nowhere to be found but returned with instant yeast. Should work just fine with some tweaks to the recipes.....seems several people are getting into the bread making biz while we're lock in our homes.

2 places she went were out of packaged flour.

Some people (me) makes most of the bread I eat at home. Don't even need a recipe or to measure the ingredients anymore. I'z just makes some bread!

Instant is all I use.

whole foods was the only place that had it iirc
Went to aldis, reasors, walmartsx3, wm market, sprouts, whole foods.
Might try trader joes of in your locale, if none of those previous work.

Edit, CORRECTION, we were looking for Gluten and it was found at whole foods

So that's where all that gluten went no one is eating.

She has been to six different store you beer bottling horders.

I just ordered 2 lbs of brewers yeast online that showed in stock.
Not for brew, but for our septic system at the house. Tablespoon every week or so to keep that good bacteria working for us.
