Building my Square body crew cab short bed 4x4

Bought a 2wd 1983 GMC. started the conversion. Got the front axle in and driving again. About to start deciding on which rear and gear ratios. Feeling excited to finally get this going.

Yeah but it takes more than an acre to turn these old solid axle trucks around. Long bed makes it so much worse. Besides i want the truck that Chevrolet never built.

Well I always worked out of my trucks and I would only have the long beds myself but I know a lot of people like the looks of the short bed.

Coincidentally, I found that the older four wheel drive trucks had a tighter turn radius than the two wheel drive versions.

Not sure. That sure looks like a truck I saw in El Reno a while back. Is that where you bought it? Looks great by the way!

no sir. It was bought from OKC where it had been sitting for almost a year. Truck is in Yukon but I haven't driven it to el reno since i bought it. It had a huge camper shell on it when I bought it.

It lived in El Reno for several years. I was the second owner of that truck. The original owner was from Phoenix.
